A Woman’s definition of what true beauty really is an answer sort by many.
Beauty is an aspiration in every woman, so women spend much time and effort getting their makeup and hair in the perfect style. Naturally, every woman wants to feel attractive, so a woman’s definition of beauty may lead her to putting that extra effort into seeking that ideal attire that makes us look not too overweight or that doesn’t shout. It is, however, essential to remember that the world’s woman’s definition of beauty contrasts with God’s definition of beauty.
According to 1st Peter Chapter 3 and 4, God has clearly given a woman’s definition and the true meaning of beauty for us. Do not let your adornment be merely outward, arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel. Instead, God values the hidden beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is incorruptible and precious. Therefore every genuine Godly lady may want to consider and exude a beauty that money cannot purchase.
How a Woman’s definition of beauty is viewed by God
God views beauty very differently from what we do, and every woman should remember that no one will find beauty at a cosmetics counter. Neither will your clothing or hairdo become a woman’s definition of beauty. Instead, true beauty is found when one is more focused on inner beauty than external beauty. This is where you comprehend the worth of godliness. Every woman will gain beauty from godliness in this and the next life. Therefore the goal should be to cultivate Godly qualities within ourselves that define beauty by God’s standards.
Beauty per the standards of God?
There are a few things to consider when a woman’s definition of beauty is considered, so as to be renewed gradually. One, is to develop a godliness that pleases the Lord within our hearts. Older women need to be nurturing in young ladies, a level of godliness that brings out a woman’s true beauty, as per the word of God. Nothing can take away the beauty of a genuine woman of God because it reflects the salvific grace of Jesus Christ as her inner beauty and a pure heart. God is more interested in the condition of your heart and whom you have prioritized in your heart.
What God considers beautiful
Her outward look does not define her beauty or the number of children she bore. A rise to the position of a dominant business executive or an award for being the best entrepreneur of the year. Additionally, the status of a woman, married or not, working or a stay-home mum, will never be used as a standard to measure beauty. The world’s definition of beauty has misled many women and caused them to seek more outer beauty and neglect inner beauty. Outer beauty does not define the true meaning of a beautiful woman; her heart does.
Woman’s definition of beauty in the Scriptures
The description of a beautiful woman is in the scriptures, and every woman should aspire to carry this kind of beauty. Being submissive, humble, discreet, full of love, charity, patience, hardworking, prayerful, a peacemaker, and all that describes a virtuous woman in Proverbs 31. The love of the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your power, all of your mind, and all of your soul should be every lady’s priority in life.
In Conclusion
Now, let your heart’s content be devoid of material possessions and the things of this world. According to Romans 8, 6, a fleshly mind chases sin, since it chases sin, but the reason of the Spirit is life. So let your heart be free from caring for the world’s beauty ideals, ideas, and focus instead on having a pure heart. Your beauty lies at that place where your key focus is Jesus Christ. You will be aware of the One who can grant you eternal life when you know Jesus Christ. The best woman’s definition of beauty is a woman who loves, adores, obeys, and knows God.
